Booking Policies
The short version of the rental terms for direct bookings.
Subject to the rental agreement. This page summarizes our terms. The rental agreement you sign when booking is the binding version, and it controls if anything here differs.
Check-in & checkout
- Check-in is 4pm and checkout is 10am.
- Early check-in or late checkout may be possible depending on the next arrival; ask when you book. An additional fee may apply.
Payment
- 50% of the stay is due at booking; the balance is due 60 days before check-in.
- Bookings made within 60 days of arrival are paid in full at booking.
- Online bookings are paid by card through Stripe, with a 3% card convenience fee.
- To pay by bank transfer, check, Zelle or Venmo with no fee, contact David to book.
Cancellation
- 60 or more days before check-in: full refund, minus a $249 cancellation fee.
- 30–59 days before check-in: 50% refund, minus a $249 cancellation fee.
- Fewer than 30 days before check-in: no refund.
- No refunds for weather. We recommend travel insurance.
Security deposit
- A $2,500 hold is placed on your saved card the day before check-in. Nothing is charged unless there is damage.
- The hold is released within 5 days of checkout.
Guests & parking
- Renters must be 25 or older.
- Maximum 14 guests.
- Maximum 5 cars. No street parking.
House rules
- No pets.
- No smoking.
- The pool is heated to about 85°F. Pool temperature depends on the weather and is not guaranteed.
